And now we want you to join our lifesaving team. We are seeking a new team member for our Histocompatibility Laboratories.
As the Head of the Client Team you will develop and lead an effective clinical H&I service in support of HSCT. You will represent Anthony Nolan to it’s clinical and academic users including interpretation of complex H&I data in the provision of clinical advice. This will require active collaboration across the Laboratory and the wider organisation to deliver the Anthony Nolan Graft Identification and Advisory Service (GIAS).
We are looking for a HCPC registered Clinical Scientist with several years experience in Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics who has either achieved or is working towards attainment of the FRCPath Part 1. An excellent knowledge of the practical techniques relating to HLA typing is essential with a sound knowledge of the H&I aspects of HSCT. The post holder will have good team working and communication skills with the ability to manage and co-ordinate people, budgets and workloads effectively. Further professional development will be encouraged.
